Casey Goodman, LL.B. (Hons), is an estate planning and trusts lawyer at Senior Associate level working with Kimberley Martin in the Estate Planning practice area.   She is a key part of our team based approach to providing service to our clients in their estate planning.

Casey joined WMM Law in 2017, having previously practiced in Queensland in industrial relations, workers’ compensation and insurance law. She was admitted to practice as a lawyer by the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2010 and was placed on the High Court Register of Practitioners in 2012.

Casey enjoys solving complex legal problems, in particular researching difficult and novel legal problems to uncover the best solution for clients.   Her greatest strength lies in drafting complex advice and legal documents.

Beyond the law, Casey has a passion for agriculture, having lived in France and Scotland to complete an apprenticeship in cheesemaking and animal husbandry.   She and her winemaker husband moved to Tasmania in 2017 to establish a small vineyard, for which planning is currently underway.

Casey is a member of the Law Society of Tasmania.
